Golden Rules of High Yield Investments

    Fundamental Rules:

    1. Only spend money that you can afford to loose
    2. Diversify
    3. Always do a test spend and withdrawal before making a proper investment
    4. Get your initial principal back as soon as you can
    5. Always do your own research
    6. Do not be greedy
    7. Do not save up for one massive withdrawal

Additional suggestions presented by weathered HYIP investors:

    1. Send an email to support for the HYIP program
    2. Check that there is a forum for the site
    3. Do not invest in Doubles
    4. Do not invest in MLM projects
    5. Do not invest in Sports HYIPS
    6. If you do not feel 100% about a program, do not invest in it

    Fundamental Rules Explained:

    1. Only spend money that you can afford to loose
This is by far the most important rule! High Yield Investments carry high risks; over time you will loose some money on some programs. So never ever use money that you need, as there is a possibility that you will loose the lot and be left in the open with nothing to show for it.

    2. Diversify
All HYIPs carry some kind of risk and a majority fail within the first few months. By diversifying smaller amounts into many HYIPs you drastically reduce risk. Therefore if one HYIP goes down you will still have a majority of your money left. It will also give you a sleep at night factor.

    3. Always do a test spend and withdrawal before making a proper investment
By doing a test spend you can check out the functionality of the HYIP. It will allow you to see if the program is actually paying. There have been many times when an investor puts money into a HYIP only to find that they can never withdraw their money even though it has multiplied many times. Also by checking out the functionality, you can get a feel for the HYIP. If the invest and withdraw section looks dodgy or the words are recycled from another HYIP it is quite possibly as scam.

    4. Get your initial principal back as soon as you can
This rule is to cover your assets. If you have taken your initial principal out of a HYIP and it folds, you have lost nothing.

    5. Always do your own research
Do your own research; an uninformed investor is a fool who is throwing their money away. Check out forums, listen to what other investors are saying about a program. If you think a HYIP could be a scam, do not invest in it. Check out ‘How to spot a scam' for ways to research a HYIP.

    6. Do not be greedy
Greed is the single emotion that will destroy an investor. After a few successful HYIP investments you may have substantially increased your money. This is when many people get greedy and want faster returns, so they reinvest all their profits back into the HYIP rather than diversifying and looking for another HYIP to invest into. Needles to say that the HYIP disappears and it takes all the money with it. A rule of thumb is, once you have your principal back take half out and compound the other half.

    7. Do not save up for one massive withdrawal
By saving up for a massive withdrawal you are exponentially increasing your risk of loosing everything if the HYIP disappears. Or if there is a rapid shift in popularity and many investors want to take their money out, the HYIP may not be able to service all the requests as its assets are tied up or they do not have enough cash flow. A rule of thumb is, once you have your principal back take half out and compound the other half.

Additional suggestions presented by weathered HYIP investors:

    1. Send an email to support for the HYIP program
By sending mail to the support, you can gauge how legit the HYIP is. If they do not reply they are probably a scam so do not invest with them.

    2. Check that there is a forum for the site
If a HYIP provides a forum it usually means that they want investors to talk about their program. This is a positive sign, as scam HYIPs do not want the world to know that they are a frauds.

    3. Do not invest in Doublers
Doublers work by having the two last people pay the first; this is a pyramid scheme and cannot sustain itself.

    4. Do not invest in MLM projects
Most MLM projects are pyramid schemes. They say that there is the potential for huge returns with minimal investment. You will NEVER see those returns, you are just throwing your money away. The only person who makes any money is the program admin. BE WARNED THAT PYRAIMID SCHEMES ARE ILLEGAL (even to promote them).

    5. Do not invest in Sports HYIPS
This is straight up gambling, there is no science it, it is just luck.

    6. If you do not feel 100% about a program, do not invest in it
If you are not 100% confident about a HYIP it is probably because you have read something suspicious or the program just feels dodgy. If you still proceed you may have many sleepless nights. Remember that if you do not invest then you cannot loose.
